Cane Corso is direct descendant of the old Romans Molossian. Its name is derived from the Latin word "Cohors",which means "Guardian", "Protector".

overall appearance:

Medium-big size dog. Masive, strong and burly, nevertheless it should make an impression of elegance. Its clear lines are created by projecting muscles.

behaviour and temperament:

Protector of property,family and domestic animals. Excelent and intelligent companion, appropriate for kids and also for sport kynology. In the past it was used for watching of herds and in the hunting of large wild animals. Its perfekt charakter will win you over immediately from the first contact, as it won us over too.
